Let’s draw! The goal is to relax, learn, and enjoy. By understanding and combining simpler underlying forms of anatomy, you can grow and succeed in this challenging but rewarding pursuit. All can benefit from studying the human figure, from beginners to advanced. Sessions will feature short and extended model poses. Instruction will be tailored to each student’s skill level. We will cover materials, various techniques, measuring, expression, and composition. Classes may include visual presentations and demonstrations. Class fee includes model fee.

In this class, a second in my Beginner Series, we will learn how to draw outdoor scenery; such as trees, rocks, water and plants from different areas of the country. We will learn how to draw various birds and animals (wild and domestic), which can enhance your drawing. Bring in your pet and travel photos as reference! You will learn techniques to create compositions, use correct viewpoints and perspectives. You will be amazed at what you can create! Please join us!

We will be exploring the wonderful world of watercolor pencils. The tools and techiques that will bring your animal to life on the paper. If you can color in a coloring book with crayons you can paint with watercolor pencils. I have developed a step by step process for painting wildlife. You will be guided through this process as well as developing some of your own techniques. At the end of this class you will be able to paint whatever animal you love. The goal is to learn and have some fun.
