Mosaics is a reverse jigsaw puzzle. You draw or envision the final artwork and create the pieces by cutting glass, pottery, or found objects, and fixing to a surface with the appropriate glues. Finally, the piece is grouted to ensure its beauty and permanency. Basics will be taught during the first session as we begin to think about whether your piece will be abstract or a depiction of something in the real world. Sample drawings will be available, as will examples of mosaic artwork to serve as inspiration.
