Wednesdays 9:00-3:30
If you have never tried this medium, it is a MUST. In this day-long workshop using SOFT PASTELS, we will create dynamic, bold and fun landscapes. Be prepared to get a little messy. Believe me, it’s worth it! This medium is very forgiving and allows the artist to master the allusion of depth very easily. Hopefully, you will learn a few new tricks that will excite you. You will learn how to underpaint to enhance color distribution If you are unfamiliar with pastels, you can buy inexpensive sets online, just make sure they are SOFT PASTELS. We will be using UART 400 grit sanded substrate. Bring a bagged lunch as we will break for about 30 minutes.
