Scratchboard is a fine art form that uses a surface covered with white clay and then a layer of black India ink. In class we will explore the different tools to remove the black ink to bring your image come to life. The student may choose to keep their boards black and white or proceed to colorize them. In class we will explore the different mediums used to colorize your scratchboards.

Come and expand your drawing skills with color. Using a reference image you will learn the necessary techniques, burnishing and layering skills to develop a quality colored pencil drawing. Come Illustrate, explore and express anything that inspires you.
