Dawn Geradot
My life careers were in teaching and industrial management. In 1996, wanting to satisfy my creative juices, I decided to try my hand working as a full-time artist. Art & art-related projects have always been a big part of my everyday existence for as long as I can remember. Encouraged by a mentor and friend, I have never looked back.
I love those happy accidents that I see every day in pursuing my passion. I look to the whimsical, contemporary & abstract for inspiration and then just let my thoughts guide my hands. God has truly blessed me.
Kris Peterson
“I loved the free flow style of watercolor, but needed more precision” said Peterson. “I then discovered that using a variety of different mediums gave me the ability to be unrestrained yet detailed.”
Her work can be found in private European and US collections and galleries.

Education
Lots, mostly in drafting. I have spent time studying art and architecture at Rice University. Most of my art education comes from my father, an illustrator with a degree in fine art from the Kansas City Art Institute. He was always there to direct my efforts in drawing, composition, color, and even sculpture. His mother was an accomplished watercolorist.
