If you’ve never painted with watercolors or have limited knowledge of the basic techniques, this class is for you. We will have lots of fun exploring the fascinating qualities of this medium while also discovering your unique form of expression. There will be exercises to learn how wet the paper should be, how much water to apply with pigment, and how to use those wonderful 1 1/2 inch flat watercolor brushes.

Artist’s fine line markers are not just for careful detail work, they are also great for quick sketches. Drawing in pen means letting go of perfectionism and going with the flow of ink! Add color with a few colored pencils, watercolor pencils, pastels or watercolors and create fresh and lively artwork or fill a journal. Forget erasing and fixing things, just loosen up and have fun drawing! (Weather permitting, this class will draw outside too.)
