Watercolors are easy if you know how. This class is designed for the watercolor lover that wants to start from the very beginning. You will learn the fundamentals of playing and exploring the basic techniques of mixing and blending colors, how to create a palette, and how to control the opacity of the paint. All in a fun, relaxing afternoon. Step by step through the entire painting process. The instructor provides the references.

Learn more of the basics along with more advanced techniques. Watercolor is one of the most enduring art forms in our culture and is the easiest way of expressing yourself through art. Watercolor has a long history of teaching great painters their first lessons in subjects ranging from proper technique to design principles. We will continue to learn how to mix and blend colors from a limited palette, work with textures using wax, and varnish your work with ”wax” The instructor will do a demonstration to show how to fix work, or bring dull work to life. We will  work from photographs, preferably your own. Fun!
