Let your imagination take flight into the magical world of paper mache and create one of Floridas iconic water birds. Students can fashion their own favorite water bird from flamingos to herons as they explore this age-old art form using recyclable materials. This class covers the entire paper mache making process from creating the armature to the final details. Students should supply their own glue guns, scissors and wire cutters. All other materials will be provided for a $30 supply fee payable to the instructor on the first day of class.

Just imagine dogs, cats, birds and more Oh my! Discover the whimsical world of paper mache and create your own designer pet. From creating the armature, to adding the final details, this class covers it all. Plus, it’s incredibly fun! Students should supply their own plastic container (your choice for the body), scissors and wire cutters. No limits on these fanciful fish – you just need a little imagination to create whimsical paper mache sculptures like this. Not only fun, paper mache is the perfect medium to explore the sculpture-making process from creating the armature to painting the finished piece of art. Join us in this this multi-week specialty class that takes you through the process. Students should supply their own scissors and wire cutters.
