Oils have hue depth, brilliance, & translucent enticement. This course will help you recognize what inspires you artistically, & helps you translate this to canvas. You should develop some additional tools which enhance your personal style. I encourage beginners to use Photographs, as a launching pad. We’ll be learning/reviewing knowledge of color via the Color Wheel. It is fundamental for mixing colors & understanding color harmony. Shape, composition, line/edge, light/shadow, and the ‘gestalt’ will be discussed as our work is developed.
