This class is geared towards students who can complete basic metal working skills. Create your own designs while receiving expert advice. Topics and techniques will be discussed as needed. Form, function, creativity and craftsmanship are the focus of this student driven class. This is a great time to explore your creative path. Closed toe shoes are required for safety. This class has a lunch break.

Beginners to advanced students will receive instruction on clay preparation and techniques for throwing functional and artistic vessels. Trimming and design methods along with demonstrations and individual teaching will help students of all skill levels. Be sure to bring pottery tools or purchase from the gift shop. Included in fee is 25lbs clay, glazes & in-studio firing.

Get to know the basics of jewelry making and design. You will learn basic skills such as soldering with a torch, sawing, forming metal and polishing. New projects will be made during each session. Materials such as metal and saw blades will be purchased during class. Supply fees are paid before each project. If you attend the evening class please bring a check. The foundation of all art is drawing. If you have never drawn before of just want to sharpen your skills, this class can help. One of the main focuses will be on training the eye how to see. We will learn perspective, balance, form, and contrast as it all relates to composition. We will learn how to take a drawing from sketch to finished art work with just a pencil. Whether you are a beginner or advanced you should bring quality photos to work from.
