ANNE ABGOTT
Anne has been painting in watercolor since 1992 and after endless hours of painting has developed her own technique based on her passion for color and design. She teaches throughout the US and Canada and has won numerous awards including the Lattner Gold award in the Florida Watercolor Society Show. Anne's book Daring Color was published in August 2007.

ROBIN BOWMAN
Robin is a fabric collage artist who has had a life long interest in the arts. Her first art show was in 2002 and in 2005 she established Robin Bowman Designs.

BRIAN BRADER
Brian has a B.S. in Art from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He has taught pottery for more than 20 years.

JEROME CHESLEY
Jerry has a BS and MS in Art Education and also attended the University of Art in Sienna, Italy.

JOANNA COKE
Joanna received degrees in Art History from Harvard, Education and Fine Arts from the University of South Florida and her Master of Fine Arts degree in painting from Louisiana State University. Her approach to art combines the abilities of the applied and fine arts.

ELENA DE LA VILLE
Elena De La Villa studied painting at the School of Fine Arts, Venezuela; Textile Design at the Chelsea School of Art in London and Photography at the Art Institute of Boston. Her work has been exhibited at the Museo de Arte Contemporaneo, Venezuela; Danforth Museum of Art in Massachusetts; Shaw Cramer and Dragonfly Galleries on Martha's Vineyard. She has taught at Ringling College of Art; Longboat Key Center for the Arts and the Art Center in St. Petersburg.

MARY ANN DEVOS
Mary Ann is the Director of Education for PMC Connection. She has been a jewelry artist, designer and instructor working primarily in precious metals since 1988. She is the author of Introduction to Precious Metal Clay and Precious Metal Clay in Mixed Media.

BONNIE DUNCAN
Bonnie studied ceramics at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Since graduation in 2005, she has been working in clay full time as a potter and instructor. She is a recent graduate of the Resident program at the St. Pete Clay Company, and has been teaching teens with the Youth Arts Corps in Pinellas County for almost two years.

NANCY FARIS
Nancy has a B.F.A. from SUNY - Russell Sage College, Albany, NY. She is a member of Women Contemporary Artists and the Surface Design Guild.

HEATHER FORTNER
Heather has been printing fish and plants for 30 years and teaching this art form for over 20 years. Her travels have allowed her to study with some of the Japanese Master Gyotaku artists in Japan and her work has been published and exhibited in the US, Canada, Europe and Japan.

DEBRA GALLERY
Debra Gallery graduated from the University of South Florida in Tampa with an Art Education degree K – 12. She has taught art in public and private school systems, as well as private lessons for 22 years. She is known for her versatility of skills and media. Debra is presently an art instructor at Stewart Elementary School in Bradenton.

GRACIELA GILES
Graciela's love of art, as well as music, blossomed early and the two have always formed a creative duet in her life. The artist's award winning paintings have been selected for numerous juried and invitational exhibitions and her work is in private collections throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, Jamaica and Argentina.

JULIE HANSON
Julie received her B.F.A. from the Ringling School of Art and Design. Julie's strong interest in color led her to the Cape Cod School of Art. Her artistic expression has been influenced by the plein air painters' magnificent use of color.

HELENE HIRMES
Helene has been involved with the arts all her life. She began sculpting in 1984 and spent two years working with the feminist artist Judy Chicago and six other artists executing the needlepoint tapestry “Birth Trinity” which has been exhibited in museums throughout the country.

JANINE HOFFMAN
Janine has a B.F.A. from Long Island University at C.W.Post. Although majoring in painting, it wasn't until she began using her first love, pencil, that her style came to its fruition. Her work has been exhibited in New York, Texas, Florida, the NBA's All-Star Jamfest and can be viewed at the prestigious Tom James/Raymond James Financial Art Collection.She has been a member of the main street gallery, Art Uptown, located in Sarasota, Florida for over 10 years. Her work has been seen in numerous publications, including Beckett Monthly as well as various independent comics and the self-published Steele Destinies.

RUTHY HYATT
Born in Morocco and growing up in Paris, Ruthy has always incorporated art into her life. She has studied art at the Ringling School of Art and has taken classes and workshops with several instructors.

JOHN HYNAL
John is a working photographer and instructor with 25 years experience which began at MCC. As the administrator of Exposures Photo Workshops of Sarasota he designed information filled, motivational programs designed to ensure studentsuccess.

DARWIN LEON
Darwin has a BFA from Minami International University of Art and Design. He was an art instructor at ArtCenter South Florida, Miami, FL and has had numerous solo exhibitions in South Florida

FELICIA LIBAN
Felicia studied at the Pratt Institute and privately with leading artists in the enameling and jewelry fields. She was on the staff of the Parsons School of Design and the Nassau Museum of Fine Arts. Since 1972 she has taught throughout the US including the 92nd St. Y in NYC. She is also the coauthor of the book, Cloisonne and Jewelry Making.

ROB LIBERACE
Rob is an internationally acclaimed portrait artist. In April of 2003 he received the Grand Prize Award in the International Portrait Competition from the Portrait Society of America. In 2002 he won the Best of Show Award. Rob has been commissioned to do portraits for clients such as Marc Pachter, Director of the National Portrait Gallery, George H. Bush, Senior, and Ambassador Sol Linowitz.

LINDA LUCAS
Linda studied Art and Design at Rochester Institute of Technology and Fiber Arts at Buffalo State. She was an FTD florist for 25 years and brings her in-depth knowledge of plants and flowers to her teaching. Linda has won numerous awards locally and nationally.



KATHLEEN MASUR
An avid watercolorist for many years, Kathleen now focuses on painting on silk; she creates and markets her award winning paintings and wearable art both in Pennsylvania and Florida.

ROBERT OBERING
Robert has been working with stained glass for the last 9 years. He has been teaching and doing commissioned pieces for 4 years. He has studied with local and national teachers and is certified to teach the Vicki Payne technique of instruction.

STEVE PAWLOSKI
Steve earned a B.F.A. in Metal from SUNY New Paltz studying under such world renowned metalsmiths as Jamie Bennett, Mya Mimlitsch, Guy and Sondra Sherman.

DENISE RIETH
Denise is a certified PMC artisan and one of the founders of the local PMC Gold Chapter.

MARY LOU RINGERS
Mary Lou has a B.A. from Molloy College, NY and an MS Education/Fine Arts Concentration from Long Island University, NY. She has been teaching drawing at watercolor at the adult education level since 2002.

CAROLYN RITTER
Carolyn is an award winning artist with a degree in art education from Auburn Univeristy. She teaches workshops in Georgia, Florida and Washington.

HERBIE ROSE
Herbie graduated, Cum Laude, from the New York Phoenix School of Design, and he took post graduate courses at Pratt Institute. He worked in the advertising field, honing his skills in technical rendering and designing. His accounts included Colgate Palmolive, Texaco, Sherwin Williams Paints and Hertz.

RON SANDERS
Ron graduated with honors from Columbus College of Art & Design in Columbus, Ohio. He has studied with noted Chinese artist Huihan Liu as well as former President of the Plein Air Painters of America, George Strickland. He has painted in oils for more than 30 years, continuing to explore every avenue that will lead him to grow as an artist.

BARABARA SIMMONS
A certified teacher who received her training at Ohio University and Western Carolina University, Barbara taught with outstanding success at Southeast High School. She has long been a favorite with watercolor students for her well thought out and easy to understand teaching techniques.

ANN TERHARDT
Ann studied art at Layton School of Art and Concordia College. She has taken numerous classes and workshops throughout the years.

CHARLOTTE STAUB THOMAS
Charlotte Staub Thomas has a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design; M.A. from Columbia University; Certificate in Botanical Illustration, The New York Botanical Garden. She teaches workshops at the Corcoran School of Art and Design in conjunction with the U.S. Botanic Garden in Washington D.C., and has taught classes at the Ringling School of Art and the New York Botanical Gardens. She also created 25 watercolors for the book Common to This Country, the Botanical Discoveries of Lewis & Clark.

WENDY THURLOW
Wendy is an award winning jeweler/metalsmith. She has her BFA in Metals from the University of Arts in Philadelphia, PA. She was recently chosen as first place winner for publication in the book, Best of Artists and Artisans Books Series. She produces her own, one of a kind and limited edition jewelry.
