Supply List Watercolor paints - if you don't already have a set and are buying paints, I recommend the following colors: Lemon Yellow Yellow Medium Orange Cad Red Light Permanent Rose (Quinacridone) Cobalt Violet or Dioxazine Violet Ultramarine Blue Cerulean Blue Viridian Green Sap Green Burnt Umber Yellow Ochre Burnt Sienna Black If you already have colors, you don't need to buy more for the class. Bring what you have. You will also need brushes of various shapes and sizes: rounds, flats and mops. Make sure to have a small round detail brush. You may paint on any watercolor surface that you please: paper, canvas, or acrylic gessoed cardboard. Other Items include a palette, water container and paper towels. Bring still life or photographic reference from which to work. |
