Happy Camper
Our son, Benjamin Mc Graw, attended the Pottery camp and the Digital Photography camp. Ben is pretty quiet and reserved, but also very artistic. He really enjoyed pottery camp and thought it would be a fun hobby. However, he has absolutely found a passion for photography. He has taken lessons in different activities before and while he liked them, he was never overly excited about them. I was amazed at how he "came alive" with photography. He was excited every day to tell us about camp and show us the pictures he had taken. He has even been getting up and ready to go with out any prompting, (a rare thing in the life of a 12 year old). He asked to take additional classes and has had us stop while driving for him to photograph something that caught his interest. We just wanted to say THANK YOU so much for helping him find an art medium that he is so passionate about. We feel so blessed by the Art Center.
If we can help the Art Center in any way, please do not hesitate to ask. As you know we home school so we have very flexible schedules and we are happy to help in any way.

Dynamic Drawing
Instructor: Deb Gallery
Tuesdays, 4:00 – 6:00
Session 1: Sept. 7, 14, 21, 28, Oct. 5
The students will use pencils, charcoal and colored pencil. Drawing in
perspective, light and dark value studies and attention to detail in drawing
techniques will be the focus of the class.

Classy Clay
Instructor: Deb Gallery
Tuesdays, 4:00 – 6:00
Session 2: Oct. 12, 19, 26, Nov. 2, 9
Students will use hand building techniques to create 3-D forms in clay.
Methods used will be the pinch, slag, coil, pug and combination. We will
focus on imagination.

Painting Plus
Instructor: Deb Gallery
Tuesdays, 4:00 – 6:00
Session 3: Nov. 16, 23, 30, Dec. 7, 14
Students will experience a variety of painting materials and techniques.
Watercolor, tempera, acrylic and mixed media will be explored. Paper,
feathers, shells, fabric and more will become your canvas.
